Every CDG Express ticket purchase — online or at the station — generates a unique, non-personalised QR code, available in digital or printed form depending on how you bought it.
Access to the train is simple: just scan your ticket at the entry gates, located at the front of the platform at each station. Once validated, it allows you to access the platform and board the train seamlessly.
Our CDG Express staff are on hand at the entry gates to assist you and make your journey to the train as smooth as possible.
A flexible, advance-booked ticket
Buy your CDG Express ticket up to 24 months in advance, directly on our website or via the mobile app. You can also buy a ticket at the station, even on a day other than your travel date.
Your ticket remains completely flexible: it does not commit you to any specific timetable. A delay, an unexpected event or a last-minute change? Your pre-booked ticket is valid for an extended period and allows you to take the train of your choice, in the direction you wish, provided it is valid.
Advantages of the return ticket
The CDG Express return ticket is available to buy online and at stations, with the exception of Open Payment gates. It consists of two separate tickets, valid in opposite directions. The return journey is valid for 90 days after the outward journey has been validated. Ideal if you already know your return date, it allows you to plan your journey with peace of mind whilst benefiting from a discount on your tickets

Can I buy a ticket on board the train?
No, you must purchase your ticket before boarding.
It is not possible to buy a ticket on board. Please ensure you have a valid ticket before proceeding to the ticket gates at stations.
Is the CDG Express accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, passengers with reduced mobility can move around stations and travel on the CDG Express using the dedicated PRM areas.
Each train carriage features a built-in ramp for independent, level access. Each carriage is equipped with spaces for passengers with reduced mobility, including a 1.5-metre turning area, emergency buttons and accessible toilets. A free assistance service is available at the station; this can be booked up to 24 hours before departure via the online booking form. Please see our "Travelling with a disability" page.
Are there any discounted rates?
Yes. There are several discounts available:
- Return ticket: 15% discount.
- Under 16s: free, when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
- Monthly or annual Navigo pass (valid at the time of purchase): 35% discount.
- Companion of a person with a disability: free admission.
- Airport or railway platform staff: preferential rates.
