Practical and accessible

Above each seat, overhead compartments provide space for suitcases and smaller items of luggage, accessible throughout the journey.
In the Express Lounge, the staggered seating arrangement offers you an additional option: keep your luggage by your side throughout the journey, within easy reach, for even greater peace of mind.
For bulky items — bicycles, pushchairs, musical instruments, sports or film equipment, surfboards — large lockers fitted with straps and belts ensure they are securely held in place throughout the journey. Because your belongings deserve to travel in comfort too, the CDG Express reserves a special place for them on board.
Our teams are on hand as you board to help you stow and secure your personal belongings, from the lightest to the bulkiest. Luggage labelling is required on board.

If I have a question or a problem during my journey, who can I contact?

A conductor is on board every train for the 20-minute journey.

A train manager is on board every train, available from the moment you board to help you stow your belongings and answer any questions you may have throughout the journey. Reception staff are also on hand at Gare de l’Est and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, from the first to the last train departure, every day.

Can I board the CDG Express with a bulky item?

Yes, there is plenty of luggage space on board for your personal belongings.

Large lockers fitted with straps and belts are provided for bulky items such as bicycles, pushchairs and sports equipment. A train manager is on board every train and can help you stow your luggage when you board.

Are there any discounted rates?

Yes. There are several discounts available:

  • Return ticket: 15% discount.
  • Under 16s: free, when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
  • Monthly or annual Navigo pass (valid at the time of purchase): 35% discount.
  • Companion of a person with a disability: free admission.
  • Airport or railway platform staff: preferential rates.
