Keolis
Hello Paris was entrusted with creating the CDG Express passenger experience, hiring and training the teams, and servicing the trains, under a mandate from the French State.
Paris is one of the last global cities in the western world that does not yet have a direct rail service between its main airport and the city centre.
Marc Sorrentino
Chief Executive Officer, Hello Paris
Hello Paris is a 50-50 joint venture between two leading public transport operators – Keolis and RATP Dev – set up to operate the CDG Express
This partnership gives Hello Paris a solid foundation in three areas:
This joint venture was set up in 2018 to meet the project’s challenges and the French State’s expectations, combining both partners’ decades-deep expertise in rail operations, high-density network management, urban integration and service quality – all of which are essential for a rail link embedded in a complex mass transit network
Hello Paris is 100% focused on its aim to provide a reliable, regular, comfortable and convenient rail service that fits seamlessly into every passenger’s journey. To do that, we combine expertise in rail and airport operations, as well as urban mobility, working closely with:
Hello Paris is fully responsible for operating the line and financing the €260 million investment. We work closely with our partners to provide safe and reliable services, maintain the trains, provide clear and timely passenger information, and keep operations running smoothly. Hello Paris obtained its Single Safety Certificate from the European Union Agency for Railways on 17 February 2026, attesting to its compliance with all applicable regulations and its ability to operate trains on the French national rail network.
Hello Paris has 170 people running the service and its scale is one of its strengths: the teams are in touch with day-to-day operations and agile enough to operate effectively within the Greater Paris area’s busy rail network. This connection is vital to providing a smooth service – and a deliberate choice to bring together the best of Keolis’s and RATP Dev’s cultures.

Hello Paris also decided to open a driving school specifically for the CDG Express. We reviewed close to 10,000 applications to select about 60 drivers and supervisors for training, most of whom had experience in hospitality and airline customer service.
At Hello Paris, drivers, train managers, supervisors and passenger services staff spend a day a week working alongside colleagues in other roles. The five-month initial training programme makes this versatility possible and is designed to foster a shared culture, enhance operational resilience and nurture a genuine customer-first attitude. One of the CDG Express’s promises is that every member of the team will remain closely and naturally connected to the passenger experience.
Maintenance operators and technicians play a central role at the CDG Express’s dedicated technical workshop. Operators coordinate and prepare jobs, which can include corrective maintenance, preventive inspections and planning, then technicians independently carry out tests, repairs, diagnostics and part replacements. Together, they keep the trains safe and reliable day after day.
