All aboard

Pets travel free of charge and do not need a ticket on the CDG Express.

  • If you carry your pet, you will have to take them in closed bag or basket no larger than 45 cm x 30 cm x 25 cm, on your lap or at your feet.
  • If you take them on a lead, they need to wear a muzzle throughout the journey and travel at your feet.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs also travel free of charge and do not need a ticket on the CDG Express.

Your pet needs to stay with you and is your responsibility throughout the journey. Please make sure you travel with all the necessary documents to identify them.

Pet travel documents

If you are going abroad with your pet, please check that they are allowed to fly with you. Depending on your destination, your pet may need to:

  • be identified with a microchip;
  • be vaccinated against rabies;
  • have a European pet passport issued and completed by a vet;
  • have an up-to-date health record.

Please check official websites for the travel requirements that apply to your pet.
