Everything you need to know before applying

What is the administrative background check?

This pre-recruitment check is an essential security measure required by law in some sectors. Its purpose is to make sure a candidate is suitable before they take up their role, particularly where the role involves sensitive duties or responsibilities.

In France, it is carried out by SNEAS, the Ministry of the Interior’s national administrative security service, and applies to certain roles that require authorisation to access sensitive sites or involve sensitive duties or responsibilities.

For the CDG Express, all roles that require driver training and all train maintenance roles are subject to this background check.

What do the pre-tests in the recruitment process involve?

These tests assess a candidate’s ability and aptitude for a role linked to rail safety or operations. They only apply to candidates applying for driver training.

They may include logic and vigilance tests, as well as practical scenarios related to the role. They also help assess a candidate’s motivation, judgement, ability to follow strict rail procedures and capacity to learn. They take about two hours to complete online.

What are the benefits of working on the CDG Express project?

Depending on the role, the benefits may include:

  • Meal vouchers for working days.
  • Supplementary health insurance for you and your family.
  • Bonuses tied to performance and working hours.
  • Ongoing training to foster career growth.
  • Career opportunities in the rail and wider transport sectors.
  • Varied working patterns based on the needs of the service (possibly shift work and on-call periods depending on the role).
  • A 13th-month salary payment.
